Synopsis:
In 1945, Grace Stewart and her children, Anne and Nicholas - both of whom have a condition that causes severe sensitivity to light, reside in a secluded country mansion in Jersey, a British territory off the coast of France. Out of the blue, three domestic workers arrive seeking employment, and after hearing that the trio worked in the Stewarts' house years ago for its previous owners, Grace welcomes them. But when Anne begins talking about mysterious visits from a young boy called Victor and Grace begins to experience increasingly strange and frightening incidents in the mansion and surrounding woods, Grace becomes suspicious of the servants and of the house itself - and sets out to protect her home and family from the entities haunting them.
